GRAND CANYON WEST
should not be confused with Grand Canyon National Park (South Rim and North Rim), as it is located about 3.5 hours (driving time) away. Grand Canyon West (located on the south side of the Colorado River) is managed by the Hualapai Tribe. This land lies outside the boundary and jurisdiction of the National Park Service and is administered by the Hualapai Indian Tribe.
Maverick’s Grand Canyon Discovery flight departs from Grand Canyon West, an area of the Grand Canyon that is privately owned and operated by the Hualapai Indians.
