WHAT TO BRING... On Your Grand Canyon Sightseeing Tour

Here are some suggestions to make your Grand Canyon sightseeing tour more enjoyable.

FOR ALL SEASONS

Don't make the mistake and run out of film or batteries. Double check...triple check - so you don’t miss out on that one Grand Canyon sightseeing photo of a lifetime.

  • Extra batteries
  • Extra film or memory card
  • Hat & sunglasses
  • Sunblock* and ChapStick
  • Photo ID

FOR SUMMER TIME

  • For your safety we strongly recommend that you wear comfortable, stable shoes that would be appropriate for walking on rocky, uneven ground.
  • Dress in light clothing

We suggest during the summer you carry a water bottle*. Keeping hydrated is very important!


FOR WINTER TIME

  • Gloves & scarf
  • Hat
  • Coat
  • For your safety we strongly recommend that you wear comfortable, stable shoes that would be appropriate for walking on rocky, uneven ground.

At the Grand Canyon it can become windy and the weather can change quickly. So it is important that you dress properly and are prepared for whatever the weather conditions.

*Please Note: For airplane tours, per TSA regulations, liquids in containers with volumes larger than 3.4 oz. are prohibited from being carried onto an airplane. This regulation does not apply to baby formulas, medications and items purchased inside the terminal.
